Here are some creative ways to make money using online webinars.
1 – Conduct a free webinar in order to sell an information product.
Whether you have your information product to sell or you are selling someone else’s information product as an affiliate, you can use a webinar to make a 30 minute to hour plus sales presentation to interested potential customers. Offer enough valuable information for free to potential webinar attendees to get them interested in listening to your webinar.
Give a very good, very useful presentation on the topic and then add in your sales pitch. Offer special bonuses available only to those that attend the webinar. This is an excellent method to take potential customers who are already interested and answer all their objections within a group setting. You can record the webinar in order to gain even more exposure to your sales presentation.
2 – Create a membership site offering a series of webinars.
One of the best methods for creating a membership “site” is to offer a series of webinars with a monthly subscription price. In fact, you don’t really have to create an entire membership site for this business model. All you need is a sales page. Charge a reasonable monthly fee and you have a membership site with paying members before you have any content whatsoever!.
You can use this method to add value to an already existing membership site or it makes a great stand alone membership. You can record each month’s or week’s webinar and include past webinars as a bonus to members who sign up in the future, or you can even charge extra for access to past webinars. You might even bundle the webinars and sell the bundle as a separate product at some point.
3 – Conduct paid webinars.
If you are an authority on a particular subject of any sort (for example, loan origination, article writing, website promotion etc.) and you have some established reputation and customer base, then you can offer webinars which are individual products on their own. These will basically be paid online training classes. The great thing about this is you can record the webinar and sell the recording separately. If you already have a large email list, this can be an excellent way to make money from it.
4 – Use webinars to sell your online services to local brick and mortar businesses.
Short webinars which demonstrate how your marketing services work and how they will benefit the local businesses can be excellent marketing tools. For example, you can show them the benefit of using autoresponder email messages or how to create a Google places listing and get it ranked. In the process, this will show them how complicated this is for a business owner to do while still running his/her business and how they might want to hire you to do it for them.
